Thanks to Epic Games' official post, we know that Winterfest 2024 will kick off on December 20, 2024. Thus, the upcoming update will be related to this in-game event. As such, following the downtime coming to an end tomorrow, you can expect to see certain Winterfest elements and assets added to the game.
Epic Games has also confirmed that Crackshot's Cabin will return for Winterfest 2024. Much like the previous years, players can visit it from the Main Menu to redeem presents. They will also be able to visit it in-game as it will likely be added to the map as a Landmark. Sgt. Winter will likely return as an NPC as well.

With Witerfest comes snow, and as such, we can expect to see several map changes implemented in-game once the downtime ends tomorrow. However, it is unclear which part of the map will be covered in snow. It is very unlikely that Epic Games will cover the entire map since navigating biomes could become a bit monotonous.
