Everything you need to know about Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 (v33.20 update) early patch notes
Hatsune Miku, Fornite Festival Season 7, and Local Multiplayer
It has been confirmed via several teasers that Hatsune Miku will be the featured article for Fortnite Festival Season 7. She will replace Snoop Dogg and take over the Jam Stage for the duration of the collaboration. The new season of Festival will start once the downtime for update v33.20 ends.
In addition to the start of Fortnite Festival Season 7, Epic Games will be adding a new feature called Local Multiplayer. Up to four players will be able to simultaneously play Festival from the same physical location. Compatible plug-in instruments and controllers will work with this new feature. It will be limited to Xbox and PlayStation for the time being.
Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 (v33.20 update) early patch notes reveal the arrival of Godzilla and Kong
After what seems like an eternity, the Godzilla Outfit will finally be unlockable in a week. As such, during the upcoming update, Epic Games will add content related to the kaiju. Based on a recent teaser, Godzilla could destroy a POI in-game.
King Kong is also slated to be added to the game, but there is no confirmation of the same. Perhaps the leakers/data miners will get access to more information during the downtime; but for the time being, nothing can be said with absolute certainty.
Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see these two kaiju go head-to-head with each other on the island. It could be reminiscent of The Final Showdown live event that saw Mecha take on The Devourer.
Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 (v33.20 update) early patch notes reveal the official end of Winterfest 2024
Although Winterfest 2024 has come to an end, the snow persists on the island. Large parts of the map are still snowbound and are experiencing a whiteout. Once the next update goes live, the snow will be removed and the island will revert to how it looked pre-Winterfest 2024. Any remaining assets from the festive season will be vaulted until the next iteration of the same.
Miscellaneous
Aside from the aforementioned content, @ShiinaBR predicts that Fortnite Ballistic could get an update alongside a showcase of the first teaser for OG Season 2. Other than this, more collaborations could come to fruition, but this is not confirmed for the time being.
That's all the information we currently have about the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 (v33.20 update) early patch notes. Epic Games should be announcing the downtime in a few hours.
