The Fortnite downtime today (January 14, 2025) is scheduled to begin at 4 AM ET. Matchmaking will be disabled at 3:30 AM ET, and the servers will be live again by 5:30 AM ET. This downtime paves the way for v33.20, the third major update for Chapter 6 Season 1.

As per the details provided by Epic Games, the Fortnite downtime today (January 14, 2025) will last approximately 90 minutes. The servers will be taken offline at 4 AM ET and should be back online by 5:30 AM ET. An official update will be provided by the developer on X and via a blog post when they are back online.

Additionally, Hatsune Miku will take center stage as the featured artist for Fortnite Festival Season 7. A new feature called Local Multiplayer will also be added to FN. Alongside that, certain Instruments will be useable as Pickaxes and Back Blings in Battle Royale and Zero Build.
