Fortnite Festival Local Multiplayer has been officially revealed by Epic Games. The feature will go live on January 14, 2025, and will allow up to four players to play together from a physical location. The feature will support compatible plug-in instruments and controllers, as showcased in the video. Additional information about the upcoming Fortnite Festival Local Multiplayer will be shared soon.

As of now, the new feature will only be supported on consoles such as Xbox and PlayStation. It is unclear if the Switch will be able to support this feature. There is no mention of it being supported on PC either.
This is likely because the split-screen mode, which will be needed for the feature to function, cannot be used on a PC. It is also not supported on the Switch. It is unclear if this will change when the Switch 2 releases. Epic Games will provide an update regarding the same.
Fortnite Festival Season 7 Jam Stage officially revealed
In addition to the upcoming feature, the Fortnite Festival Season 7 Jam Stage for Hatsune Miku has been officially revealed as well. Given the overarching theme of Chapter 6 Season 1 is Japan and everything related to it (culture and mythology), the Jam Stage takes a lot of design inspiration from the same.
As seen in the trailer, the Jam Stage has hues of blue and purple ambient lighting all around. The blue could be a direct reference to Hatsune Miku, while the purple may be a reference to the Demon Portals that are scattered across the island. Chapter 6 Season 1 bosses spawn in and around them.
We can expect to see a high-resolution image shared by Epic Games, perhaps over the weekend. For now, here's an image that was shared by veteran leaker/data-miner @HYPEX taken from the official video showcasing the upcoming Fortnite Festival Local Multiplayer feature.
That being said, more information about the same is bound to be shared in an official capacity over the next few hours. With the next update (v33.20) slated to arrive on January 14, 2025, you will not have to wait long to get more in-depth details about what to expect from Fortnite Festival Season 7.
