According to the latest Fortnite leak, Kevin The Cube could return to the Metaverse later next year. During the v33.10 update, sounds from the Chapter 1 Cube Live Event were apparently re-added to the files. This information was provided by leaker/data-miner @Loolo_WRLD, who has been accurate in predicting upcoming content for a while now.
However, Kevin The Cube will not return to the Battle Royale/Zero Build mode, as was the case in the past. Instead, this entity that belongs to The Last Reality faction will be featured in the Fortnite OG mode.

Fortnite leak hints at Kevin The Cube's return in OG Chapter 1 Season 6

According to @Loolo_WRLD, Kevin The Cube will be back in the Fortnite OG mode sometime during Chapter 1 Season 6. We know for a fact that Epic Games will be cycling through the entirety of Chapter 1 until the end of 2025. However, there is no timeline in place to confirm how long each Season will last. For the moment, we only know the end date for OG Chapter 1 Season 1.
Taking an educated guess, Kevin The Cube could return sometime in mid-2025 or towards the Q3 of 2025. With TimTheTatman all but confirming the return of live events, in just a few months, we will get to see Kevin roll into Loot Lake and unleash the Storm King once again. It will be interesting to see if the finer details of the live event are tweaked or if everything is kept true to the OG days.
If nothing else, new players will get to experience the OG days and what they had to offer in terms of creativity and storytelling. They'll be able to relive jaw-dropping moments that catapulted Fortnite into the spotlight all those years ago.
Lastly, if live events are making a full-fledged comeback, Kevin The Cube will just be one of the many that are in store for the near future.
