According to the latest Fortnite leak, two new unique items will be added to the loot pool in Chapter 6 Season 1. One is codenamed HookShot while the other will be Ice Skates. The information was brought to light by leakers @Loolo_WRLD and @Wensoing — the duo has been hard at work digging into the files to gain insight into upcoming content.
Coming back to the new movement items, it would appear one of them takes some inspiration from Japanese mythology and the Samurai theme. The other will be linked to Winterfest 2024. Here is more on these mobility/movement items and they could affect the game when introduced to the loot pool.
Fortnite leak sheds light on upcoming HookShot and Ice Skates mobility/movement item
While details are limited, leakers have slated that a new mobility item codenamed HookShot will be part of the loot pool. This item can probably be seen in the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 key art that was recently leaked. However, for the time being, it is best to not jump to conclusions.

As for the item's utility, it could function similarly to the Grapple Blade that was introduced in Chapter 5 Season 1. But keep in mind that since this is speculated to be oriented toward mobility, it may not function as a ranged weapon. It may just allow players to move about short distances by hooking onto things.
Coming to Ice Skates, as per the naming scheme, its utility will likely revolve around short bursts of speed. Alternatively, it may allow players to traverse snowy/ice terrain more easily and/or quickly. With Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 lining up perfectly with Winterfest 2024, this could be a time-limited item for the holiday season.
