According to the latest Fortnite leaks by legacy leakers and data miners, such as @Hypex and @SpushFNBR, players can expect a mini-event to celebrate the upcoming new year 2025. Fortnite is known to host unique events to celebrate this occasion, and based on the trend seen in the past few years, it is possible that 2025 will see an extension of the same.
The Fortnite mini-event celebrating the new year usually comprises a large disco ball rifting into the sky, which depicts the countdown to the new year. Once the timer hits zero, all players will receive a boogie bomb effect and start dancing for a few seconds.
During the event, players will not be able to do anything — no weapons, vehicles, or mechanics, such as sprint or jump will be enabled. Apart from this, the event usually has giant fireworks and the year displayed in the sky.
