New Fortnite leaks have been making the rounds and they spell good news for the Creative game mode as it seems like Epic Games might be working on bringing previous collaboration items to the Creative mode. This means weapons and items released during crossover events such as Waterbending and Spider-Man Web-Slingers could be added to the Creative mode weapon libraries.

The leak was brought forward by veteran leaker and data miner HYPEX, who has provided a ton of accurate information and leaks regarding the game over the years, including the recently released Deadpool & Wolverine (Pen & Ink) skins. This only adds credibility to the information presented.

According to the leaks presented by HYPEX, the developers are working on a way for players and Fortnite creators to create and publish maps with collaboration items in them. While the only items currently supported under this new feature are the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mythics, it seems like Epic Games has to work out the nitty gritty and legality of everything before adding other items in.

This means that for every map that features a collaboration item, Epic Games will have to pay a certain percentage of the map's revenue with the owners of the Intellectual Property being put to use on the map.

For example, if a map features the Iron Man Uni-Beam Mythic from Chapter 2 Season 4 or Deadpool's Dual Hand Cannons from Chapter 2 Season 2, the developers will have to pay a percentage of that map's revenue to Marvel and/or Disney.

This opens up a world of new possibilities in the Creative mode, with the ability to bring collaboration items to Creative maps being one of the most requested features for a long time. If this comes to fruition, creators will be able to craft a whole new level of Creator Made Experiences for players to indulge in and explore.
