Fortnite leaks hint at potential Die Hard collaboration

New Fortnite leaks have just come forward involving a potential collaboration with Die Hard, the classic Christmas movie from 1988 that has gained a cult following over the years. The information seems to have stemmed from the massive set of Disney leaks going around the internet and was brought forward by iFireMonkey, a prominent leaker and data miner in the Fortnite community.

It was reshared by HYPEX, another veteran leaker. Both of these sources have consistently provided accurate information regarding the game, including the upcoming Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration, which adds credibility to the data.

According to the leaks, there is a concept for a John McClane skin present within the game files, featuring the character's iconic tank top look from Die Hard, along with his signature red axe. The concept outfit comes in various styles, including one that references the classic 'gun taped to the back' look beloved by Die Hard fans.

Additionally, the design pays a lot of attention to detail, especially in the shirtless styles which feature a makeshift bandage over the left ankle, another subtle reference to the movie. While the design is undoubtedly more gritty than Fortnite usually goes for, given that outfits like John Wick and Venom exist, it is possible that it translates well into the game's more family-friendly aesthetic.

However, it is important to note that while the concept for the collaboration does exist in the game files, it is not yet clear whether it is planned for the future or scrapped entirely. Given how the leak comes as part of a set of Disney leaks, it is possible that the collaboration was planned at one point but eventually failed to come to fruition.

For the time being, the concept for the Die Hard collaboration will certainly remain an exciting prospect for players. Perhaps the iconic John McClane will show up in the Fortnite Item Shop someday.
