New Fortnite leaks have surfaced following the downtime for the v30.40 update, and they bring good news for fans of the Dragon Ball franchise. Reports suggest that new skins for iconic characters from the anime are coming to the game soon. The leaks showcase skins for Android 17 and Android 18, the 17th and 18th Android creations from Dr. Gero, respectively.
The characters have become immensely popular ever since debuting in the Dragon Ball universe, and now it appears they might be making their way to the Battle Royale island. The leaks regarding the new Dragon Ball skins were brought forth by multiple credible sources in the community.
This includes veteran leakers ShiinaBR and HYPEX, who have provided accurate information regarding the game on multiple occasions, including the recently released Deadpool & Wolverine (Pen & Ink) skins.

Fortnite leaks show skins for Android 17 and Android 18 from Dragon Ball Z
According to the leaks, Android 17 and Android 18 are both set to receive skins that feature faithful translations of the characters' designs from the show. Android 17 can be seen boasting his signature orange bandana and a black shirt. Meanwhile, Android 18 can also be seen in a design reminiscent of her appearance in the show, with her blond hair and jeans-based outfit.
Additionally, the skins are likely to be paired with Back Blings, with each one being Android 17 and Android 18's Backpack with the Red Ribbon Androids logo on it. This emphasizes their Android nature while referencing the show.
While the skins seem to only have one style, unlike that of Son Goku, they do look like faithful representations of the iconic characters from the Dragon Ball universe.
It has been hinted that Android 17 and Android 18 will be available in the Fortnite Item Shop "around" August 10, 2024, with the files related to the skins just being revealed. However, players can expect them to be released soon, maybe around the end of Chapter 5 Season 3, or the start of Chapter 5 Season 4.
