According to the latest Fortnite leaks, more X-Men based on the character designs showcased in X-Men '97, will be added to the game. Per the information provided by veteran leakers ShiinaBR and HYPEX, there will be three characters alongside cosmetics related to them. These leakers have been right about numerous past collaborations; the latest being the recently added Weapon X (Wolverine) skin.

These Fortnite leaks too may come to pass, but no official timeline is currently in place. ShiinaBR states that they will be available around August 12, 2024. However, there is always a possibility of them being added to the Fortnite Item Shop early.

Fortnite leaks showcase three X-Men members joining the Metaverse soon

As per the Fortnite leaks shared on social media, three members of the X-Men will be joining the Metaverse soon: Jubilee (Jubilation Lee), Cyclops (Scott Summers), and Colossus (Piotr Rasputin).

As seen from their design, the trio seems clearly based on the characters seen in X-Men '97. However, it cannot be said with certainty that the three of them are in fact based on the series. Given that there are numerous iterations of the characters within the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe), they could be based on more modern variations. Nonetheless, this is how they look:

Based on the above image, the characters will have a few cosmetics associated with them. From what is visible, there will be two Emotes, three Pickaxes, three Back Blings, and one Item Wrap. There could be more cosmetics, but they are now showcased in the image.

Could Jubilation Lee, Cyclops, and Colossus be featured as Fortnite NPCs?

With Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 hinting at being a Marvel-themed season, these three characters could be featured on the island as NPCs then. With Doctor Victor Von Doom allegedly being the main antagonist, seeing the X-Men present on the island wouldn't be too outlandish to imagine.

That being said, recent Fortnite leaks have shared voice lines that suggest The Wanderer could be Doctor Doom. As such, Doom has already arrived on the island and will soon take center stage as the leading villain for the next phase of the storyline. More could be disclosed once the Fortnite downtime today (August 6, 2024) ends.
