According to the latest Fortnite leaks, the long-awaited collaboration with Devil May Cry seems just beyond the horizon. The information was shared by leakers/data-miners @Wensoing and @Loolo_WRLD on social media platform X. The duo mentioned receiving insider information several times since the collaboration was first mentioned by @Shpeshal_Nick back in 2023.
Apart from the aforementioned leakers/data-mines, the big three — @HYPEX, @ShiinaBR, and @iFireMonkey — also shared the recent update. Given their track records, this is more than just guesswork or hearsay. By all accounts, the Devil May Cry collaboration may arrive in Chapter 6 Season 1 and with good reason.

Fortnite leaks suggest Capcom IPs aside from Devil May Cry could return
Accounting for the storyline currently in play and the fact that it features demons, it's the perfect time for a Devil May Cry crossover. Having characters such as Dante, Vergil, Trish, Lady, and Nero in-game makes a lot of sense.
Of course, the collaboration could also feature weapons/items, but nothing concrete can be said for now. Perhaps a POI (Named Location or Landmark) could also be featured.
Aside from the Devil May Cry, according to @HYPEX, past Capcom collaborations could return. This pattern was observed in the past when the entire roster of characters belonging to a franchise was re-listed in the Fortnite Item Shop. This includes characters from Street Fighter and Resident Evil. However, there is no guarantee of this happening either.
That said, with the next Fortnite update (v33.20) slated to arrive on January 14, 2025, we could get more in-depth information about this collaboration soon. Hopefully, things will be revealed during the downtime or once the servers return online. And if nothing comes to fruition, we'll at least still get Fortnite Festival Local Multiplayer, which will arrive with Season 7 alongside Hatsune Miku as the featured artist.
