According to recent Fortnite leaks, the Turtle Van from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise will be coming to the game soon. This information was shared by leaker/data miner @SamLeakss on social media platform X. They even claimed they had received proof for the same.
@SamLeakss is well-known within the community for sharing leaks related to Rocket Racing and Rocket League. The post was also reshared by three veteran leakers/data miners - @HYPEX, @ShiinaBR, and @iFireMonkey. As such, this is all but confirmed information.
To add icing to this proverbial cake, the vehicle is also expected to be added to Rocket League. This makes sense since both IPs are owned by Epic Games. The Turtle Van from TMNT will be a fine addition to Fortnite, giving players a much-needed goofy option to choose from for their Car Body. It likely won't be long before an entire Squad of "heroes in a half shell" can be seen recklessly driving about the island in the Turtle Van. In a way, it's all canon since the Metaverse connects everything.
If nothing else, it will get players more reasons to purchase cosmetics related to TMNT, which is a win-win situation for Epic Games.
Aside from the new Car Body cosmetic, characters from the franchise are also slated to come soon. In a recent Fortnite leak, Casey Jones, Bebop, and Rocksteady were listed as potential candidates for the next wave of TMNT collaboration.
When could the next TMNT collaboration start?
With Chapter 6 Season 1 already loaded with collaborations and a potential showdown between Godzilla and Kong, there's not enough space for TMNT.
If Epic Games is adding just the Turtle Van, it could fit in well, but anything else, and things will get too cluttered. That said, the collaboration will likely be kept for Chapter 6 Season 2. It's a more plausible timeline by all means.
