More than 14 million concurrent players came together to witness the star-studded live event featuring performances by popular artists like Snoop Dogg, and Eminem, and an overarching tribute to Juice WRLD. Additionally, millions of players who could not join in-game participated in the event through streams on YouTube, Twitch, and other streaming platforms.
The milestone was such that even Epic Games mentioned it in the caption for their latest post on X:
"More than 14 million concurrent players partied up for Remix: The Finale and more than 3 million estimated people streamed it online."
This huge milestone reminds players of last year's OG season when 44 million players logged in over twenty-four hours to experience the nostalgia of the good time. As another OG season is right around the corner, players might just witness the old record being broken.
The Remix The Finale event featured an exciting medley of performances from an all-star ensemble, ranging from Snoop Dogg's chill vibe to Eminem's barrage of powerful verses. This was followed by an upbeat performance by Ice Spice which led to the Juice WRLD tribute where millions of fans united to pay respect and enjoy the discography of the late rapper and changemaker.
