Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 1 will be released on December 6, 2024, and take players back to the golden era of the title. The OG map, alongside legacy weapons and Landmarks/Named Locations, will be the crowning jewel of this experience. In addition to the aforementioned features, a Battle Pass dedicated to the OG experience will also be available for fans to purchase. It can either be obtained via the Item Shop or the Crew subscription.

The OG Chapter 1 Season 1 will launch on Friday (December 6, 2024) for players in the Eastern Time Zone. It will be an early morning to mid-day release for most time zones. Some will only get to try out the OG mode late at night, while others will have to wait till past midnight.

How long will Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 1 last?
Based on the official information at hand, Chapter 1 Season 1 of the OG mode will end on January 31, 2025, at 2 AM ET. Until the given time, the OG Battle Pass will be active and you will be able to claim rewards from it. There are 45 tiers to unlock and will include cosmetics, such as Outfits, Pickaxes, Gliders, and more.

Based on what has been mentioned by Epic Games, once Season 1 ends, Season 2 will kick off shortly thereafter. This mechanic will be in play until Season X ends sometime towards the end of 2025.
