A Fortnite player, known by their Twitter handle Mist Jawa, recently recreated two Call of Duty maps in the Creative mode of Epic Games' popular game.
Mist Jawa apparently decided to recreate the maps because they were shocked by the large amount of money they have spent on Call of Duty games over the years. Since Fortnite is a free-to-play title, the user decided that it was the best medium for free COD-themed content.

Their recreation provides players with a Fortnite multiplayer experience that only Call of Duty provides but at a cost. It is called Modern Fortfare (Island Code: 6650-9855-3010), and players can choose between two classic COD map options. These maps are the classic Rust and Shipment maps from legacy Call of Duty games.
Modern Fortfare features a COD-style deathmatch for loopers to experience in Fortnite. However, the real catch is that it is fully in first-person mode and has only classic Pray and Spray weapons from Epic Games' title.
Fortnite has always been a third-person shooter game. Players like to see their character's outfit and backbling with an incredible pickaxe in action, while they build around themselves and fight.
However, since the introduction of Zero Build, players have been demanding a first-person camera view that they can use to enjoy the action in the most immersive way. With the latest v23.30 update, several files were decrypted that showed a first-person mode was in the works.
Fortnite is one of the top multiplayer games in the industry. People of different ages play its Battle Royale and metaverse, which consists of several mini-games.
Modern Fortfare gives players a chance to enjoy COD maps in Fortnite for free
With the growing costs of Call of Duty games in recent years, players of the FPS franchise have been reluctant to spend $60 every year to purchase a new title. Moreover, many fans believe Activision often leaves previous games in the dust with no new updates.
Having said that, hardcore fans still invest in the franchise as they like to play with the latest weapons in the multiplayer game mode and experience new features.
Mist Jawa's Modern Fortfare gives fans the same joy of playing a multiplayer COD game mode. However, in this case, it is free to play, as Creative and Battle Royale modes are meant to be. Moreover, players can team up with their friends and play the game on their servers for a better ping.
With its latest hotfix this week, Epic Games fixed a glitch that allowed players to turn on first-person cameras in the Save The World game mode and use it in their Battle Royale games. While the feature is currently under development, players can expect the view mode in the upcoming Chapter 4 Season 2, which is set to drop in a month.
