According to the Fortnite Reload Duos patch notes, certain in-game mechanics have been altered to provide a more efficient and balanced experience for players hopping into the Reload playlist.
All changes made with the release of Fortnite Reload Duos are listed below:
- Increased crawling speed while a player is “down-but-not-out”
- Increased drop rate for Shotguns in chests
- Decreased drop rate for Mythic and Exotic items
These changes seem to be both a reflection of player feedback and experience ever since the release of Fortnite Reload. Changes such as the increased crawling speed being a clear step towards Epic Games further push the Reload mode as a faster-paced experience than regular Battle Royale.
