Fortnite Reload Duos: Release date, how to play, and more

Fortnite Reload Duos has just been announced. This update from Epic Games came as quite a surprise, much like the original announcement for the already beloved Reload mode. Fortnite Reload Duos is set to allow 20 teams of two players to battle it out in the fast-paced mode. Players will be brough back from the dead constantly, putting a twist on the classic Battle Royale experience.

The mode has been highly demanded by the game's community ever since it was released with the v30.20 Fortnite update. The players' wishes have been fulfilled now, and the mode is set to be added to the game on June 27, 2024, with Epic Games taking to the social media platform X to announce its release.

As mentioned previously, the Fortnite Reload Duos mode is set to be added to the game tomorrow (27 June 2024) at 9 AM ET. It will provide players with the opportunity to experience the mode with just a duo of their choice or a random partner. How to play Fortnite Realod Duos

The mode will function exactly as the Squads mode that Fortnite Reload already came packaged with, allowing players to battle it out on a much smaller map than regular Battle Royale. You should be able to find the Fortnite Duos Reload mode in the Discover menu in the main Battle Royale lobby.

In the Reload mode, as long as at least one of your teammates (the only teammate in Fortnite Reload Duos) is alive, you can reboot after a short while. After a set period, the Reboot ability will be turned off.

The mode will have a loot pool similar to the Squads game mode, featuring the same Fortnite Reload weapons already featured in the mode. The only difference is that there will now be 20 teams of two instead of 10 teams of four taking part in a match.
