The Fortnite Community Battles, in which fans played the Tower Defense Creative game for their preferred creator and built up points for them, concluded last month. Famous streamers like Creptor, DaveNite, and Magican, among others, have entered teams into the creative minigame.

The winner of the Community Battles will have the opportunity to implement their unique cosmetic spray into the game, made available to players who represent their team at no cost. It was stated on HeyStan's Twitter that the Giga Chad meme will soon be transformed into a free cosmetic spray for all players that support his team.

The tide of public opinion thus turned in HeyStan's favor, and he ultimately won the Community Fight. After being declared the winner, the streamer revealed that he will be adding a Giga Chad Jones spray (modeled after Fortnite's default Jonesy character) to the game.

Recently, HeyStan finally broke the word about the spray after a month of anticipation. The creator's fanbase felt let down by the news' unfortunate outcome.

Epic Games cancels Giga Chad Jones spray to be added in Fortnite

The news was shared yesterday on HeyStan's Twitter page, where he thanked his supporters and those who played on his team in the Community Battles games. The broadcaster informed the audience that Epic Games HQ had shot down the idea of Giga Chad Jones spray as the complimentary cosmetic spray for qualifying gamers.

The takedown occurred in part because Epic informed the streamer that the meme was the intellectual property of someone else and hence could not be used to create a spray. Another reason was the near-symbolic nature of the meme spray to Andrew Tate and the sexist community, together with player speculation that it may be used to abuse others and create toxicity in-game, leading to its removal.

HeyStan also said that they are soliciting fan inputs for more memes that might be adapted into a cosmetic spray. After Epic greenlights the plan developed by HeyStan and his crew, the most popular one will be made into a spray.

Players have responded to the streamer's request by asking for a spray combining the popular Sigma meme with another Fortnite character, Fishstick. As a result, they collaborated on a possible design for the Sigma Fishstick spray, and are now interested in adapting the meme into a real cosmetic item.

Although several comments requesting a spray have been sent on HeyStan, it may be some time before one is created. Players may monitor the polls on HeyStan's Twitter to find out which spray has the best chance of becoming a Fortnite cosmetic item after Epic has approved it.
