Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 is coming in just a few days, and players can't wait to dive in. Loopers have been getting various leaks on social media over the past week, all of which point to a futuristic theme for the forthcoming season.
Several other upcoming weapons and gameplay features were also revealed through leaks. Furthermore, a new wall run concept will be implemented into the game next season, significantly changing the game's dynamics.
Nevertheless, several features from previous seasons of Fortnite, such as the Lucky Landing POI, Grappler, and the long-awaited Pump Shotgun, may also make their way into the game. Some rumors have hinted at a significant crossover with the popular anime Attack on Titan, bringing Eren Yeager and other characters from the show to the Fortnite island.

Players have been speculating about the forthcoming season thanks to leaks, but the first official teaser has now been revealed, validating at least some of those theories by showing a futuristic Japanese landmark that they will be falling on in the new season.
Fortnite teaser confirms a futuristic Cyberpunk themed island for Chapter 4 Season 2
As the famous leaker HYPEX posted the first teaser posters for the forthcoming Chapter 4 Season 2 on his Twitter account, players went into a frenzy, causing the hashtag #FortniteMega to trend on the platform.
The released teasers suggest a futuristic Japanese-themed season, with an atmosphere reminiscent of the video game Cyberpunk 2077 and parallels to Chapter 1 Season 9's appearance of a futuristic Neo Tilted; however, there are some clues for the players to decipher on the poster that reveals some additional info about the upcoming season.
Players began decoding the posters' Japanese characters, and a code was put below the sentence as soon as the teasers were released. The wording on the banner, translated from Japanese to English using Google Translate, reads "Downtown," which may be the name of a specific POI or the next season itself.
Subtracting the digits 0.3.1.0.2.0, which were activated during Cipher quests in the game, will allow players to crack the code under the Japanese text 3.12.17.8.7.18. Cracking the code reveals the word CIPHER, which, according to players and leakers, may also be the title of the upcoming season.
But, before the actual title of the forthcoming season is released, several options are in the running. When translating an emblem Epic Games uses to promote the forthcoming season on social media, a third name appears alongside the aforementioned two.
If users tweet using the hashtag #FortniteMEGA, the emblem will show itself, which means Mega in English. The emblem, a bright neon green, will also be used in other teasers that will be released tonight or tomorrow before the start of the new season.
Players have fewer than 72 hours before the end of Chapter 4 Season 1, on March 8, 2023, to complete their tasks and acquire all the free cosmetics associated with the quests.
