The Fortnite Tidy Emote is perhaps one of the rarest things you could own as an OG player, and it could very well be coming back to the game today (November 2, 2024). It was last seen officially 2,152 days ago. Unofficially, it did make a brief appearance in the Item Shop 697 days ago but was removed in two hours.

The Emote features Snoop Dogg's iconic dance that can seen in the "Drop It Like It's Hot" video. However, the in-game version of Tidy does not feature this music. It is unclear why this is the case, but it likely has to do with licensing agreements and other legal documents.

Nevertheless, based on what has been shared by Epic Games, the Fortnite Tidy Emote could be making a comeback once the Fortnite downtime today (November 2, 2024) ends.

The Fortnite Tidy Emote could be overhauled since Snoop Dogg’s “Drop It Like It’s Hot” is now in-game

It cannot be said with absolute certainty if the Fortnite Tidy Emote will be added to the Item Shop. However, it can be confirmed that Snoop Dogg’s “Drop It Like It’s Hot” has been licensed by Epic Games. In the Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix trailer, Snoop Dogg can be seen doing his iconic dance with the song playing in the background.

Epic Games has also confirmed that Boogie Bomb, when used, will play Snoop Dogg’s “Drop It Like It’s Hot”. This can also be seen in the Chapter 2 Remix trailer when Snoop Dogg throws the utility item at two NPCs.

All this points towards the Fortnite Tidy Emote either being reworked or a brand new variant of the Emote being added to the game. A rework would be the more logical option, as many OG players have the Emote. But it all depends on what Epic Games has planned. That said, other Emotes and Cosmetics related to Snoop Dogg will be featured in-game as well throughout Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix.

In addition to the Fortnite Tidy Emote potentially making a comeback, The Agency compound is now The Doggpound. It will serve as the new headquarters and home base for Snoop’s enterprise. The Doggfather will gift you Snoop’s Drum Gun Mythic if you can defeat him and join you as an ally.
