The Fortnite x Lego collaboration seems to be in the works by Epic Games. This crossover was first teased in January 2023, but we recently got more information about it.

Considering that Lego is one of the most popular brands in the world, adding it to Fortnite Battle Royale makes a lot of sense. It will benefit both the toy production company and the video game developer.

The upcoming collaboration seems to be another Fortnite Creative 2.0 project. However, it doesn't appear that it will be released with the new Creative update, which is scheduled for March 2023.

According to GMatrixGames, one of the most popular Fortnite leakers, Epic Games has been working on a Lego collaboration for a while now. The dataminer found some data regarding the crossover in January and recently released more info about it.

The leaker claims that Epic Games is working on a Creative 2.0 map for the Fortnite x Lego collaboration. However, this could also mean that the game developer will release new cosmetic items to the Item Shop.

Epic Games has been testing it on test servers for at least a month now. If everything goes according to plan, the company will release a new collaboration with the v26.00 update.

To be more precise, we are currently in Chapter 4 Season 1 and playing on the v23.40 update. Chapter 4 Season 2 will be released with the v24.00 update, meaning that the Fortnite x Lego collaboration will most likely arrive with the fourth season of the current chapter.

Considering that most seasons last for around three months, the leaked collaboration might come out during the fall, if there are no further delays. However, the release date is very far in the future, which is why it may be delayed.

Epic Games was supposed to release Fortnite Creative 2.0 with the release of Chapter 4 Season 1. However, it appears that the update wasn't ready, which is why it was postponed for January 2023. Unfortunately, Epic had to push the date further and it's now scheduled to come out in March.

Considering that Chapter 4 Season 2 will also be released in March, Creative 2.0 will most likely be a big part of it. This will be a game-changing update as it will allow creators to make mind-blowing maps and implement custom models, animations, and scripts.

The Fortnite x Lego collaboration will use Creative 2.0 as its platform. Unfortunately, Epic Games has postponed the update multiple times in the past, which is why some players are skeptical regarding its March 2023 release.
