Recent reports suggest a Fortnite x Scott Pilgrim collaboration could be on the cards. This comes on the heels of Bryan Lee O'Malley, the creator of Scott Pilgrim, expressing interest in a potential collaboration during an interview. With the new Scott Pilgrim Takes Off show making waves and garnering acclaim on Netflix, it seems like Epic Games could bring the iconic character to the Battle Royale island.

The Scott Pilgrim series has been one of the most beloved film franchises among fans, with the 2010 action-comedy film gaining a cult following ever since its release. Now, with the Netflix show's success and the creator behind the character expressing interest in a potential crossover, it seems like this unexpected collaboration could bring the character to the Fortnite Item Shop. This is what Bryan Lee O'Malley said regarding the collaboration:

"I've never played Fortnite, but I told Universal that if they want to put Scott Pilgrim in the game, they should go for it."

What could the Fortnite x Scott Pilgrim collaboration look like

A Fortnite x Scott Pilgrim collaboration, while being an unlikely pair, would make sense when it comes to the vibe and tone of both universes. Scott Pilgrim's library of characters is filled with iconic figures like Lucas Lee, Envy Adams, and the man, Scott Pilgrim itself. Such a bright and vibrant aesthetic, only expanded upon by the new Netflix show, should fit right in with the game's already expansive list of skins.

While it is unclear which versions or designs could be added as part of the Fortnite x Scott Pilgrim collaboration, it would be safe to assume that the game would try to translate the Netflix designs over to the game. This is due to the recency of the show and the fact that the designs featured would fit better with the game's aesthetic, especially with the vast number of anime skins already present in Fortnite.

Since Epic Games has already shown its willingness to bring characters with a unique animation style to the game with characters like Peter Griffin and the Giant Chicken, it would be interesting to see if and how the Fortnite x Scott Pilgrim collaboration truly comes to fruition.
