As part of the refreshed Item Shop, a host of new Outfits, Back Blings, and other cosmetics have been included. While some of these were part of the collaboration, other items were based on the festive theme of Winterfest and the upcoming holiday season.
Amidst the new items was a holiday-themed cosmetic called the Lil' Winterfest Tree emote. It was recently added to the Item Shop under the Frosty Outfits tab.
Eagle-eyed players who purchased and used the new Fortnite Winterfest emote were quick to spot an adorable secret hidden within the seemingly normal cosmetic. When used in the game, the emote will plant a real Christmas tree after the animation ends. It depicts your character assembling and decorating a tree. Once done, it places the tree on the ground in front of you.
The animation of the Lil' Winterfest Tree emote ends with a real Christmas tree being placed on your map, making it an adorable Easter egg. This cosmetic is one of the coolest items listed in the Fortnite Item Shop.
Apart from the cool animation and the Easter egg, the unique Fortnite Winterfest emote also features a festive tune as part of its offerings, making it the perfect addition to the game during the holidays.
The Lil' Winterfest Tree emote is currently listed on the Fortnite Item Shop for 300 V-Bucks and can be used across various in-game modes and experiences, such as Battle Royale, Fortnite Festival, and LEGO Fortnite Brick Life.
