WOTE featuring Fortnite is a women-only tournament that is organized every six months. The August 2024 edition of the Women Of The eRena tournament features an attractive prize pool of $75,000 that is sure to bring a lot of viewership. This tournament has both build and zero-build game modes. The best thing about it is that anyone from the NA and EU regions can register for participation.

As mentioned in the X post by @erenaGG, the tournament organizer, the last date to sign up for the event is August 21, 2024, at 11:59 PM Eastern Time. However, the registration date could be extended depending on the number of registered participants. It is a duo tournament, so it is mandatory to fill in the information of both the players in the same form. The Google form is attached in the X post. Joining the eRena Discord Server is mandatory for registration and prize distribution purposes.

The registered duos will go through a few rounds of qualifiers which will determine the top 50 duos competing in the final tournament. The qualifiers will be starting on August 24, 2024, at 4 PM Eastern Time.

The top 50 duos are supposed to play eight matches at the main event. The first four matches will be in Zero Build mode and the final four will be in Build mode.

Prize Pool

WOTE featuring Fortnite: August 2024 has a $75,000 prize pool that will be distributed amongst all the duos in the following manner:

1st: $20,000
2nd: $12,000
3rd: $8,000
4th: $3,000
5th: $2,500
6th: $1,800
7th: $1,600
8th: $1,400
9th: $1,200
10th: $1,000
11th to 15th: $800
16th to 20th: $700
21st to 30th: $600
31st to 40th: $500
41st to 50th: $400

It is one of the few tournaments that rewards every participant with some amount from the prize pool.

As mentioned in the promotional image of the tournament, WOTE featuring Fortnite: August 2024 will be officially streamed on the organizer's Twitch account, @erena. There will probably be multiple unofficial watch parties on both Twitch and YouTube as well.

The female competitive scene of Fortnite has seen massive growth in the past two years. The upcoming Milk Cup featuring Fortnite is another women-only tournament that has a total prize pool of $250,000.
