Queen Summer and Mr Meeseeks from Rick and Morty are now Fortnite skins

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 is all set to get its second major update. Since it's 'spooktober,' everybody knows that the latest update will declare Fortnitemares 2022 open. Epic Games' annual celebration of all things spooky will finally go live once the downtime ends.

Fortnite update v22.20 entails much more than bug fixes. Players will experience a brand new LTM called Zero Build Horde Rush. In addition, the game will get a new NPC boss named Freaky. Diverging from the spooky theme, the game will also get a new Rick and Morty collaboration.

As per the latest leak, Summer Smith and Mr. Meeseeks from Adult Swim's flagship series Rick and Morty are all set to arrive in Fortnite. This crossover will mark a second collab between Epic Games and Adult Swim. In the past, the game has had Rick Sanchez and Mecha Morty as cosmetic outfits.

Fortnite to collab with Rick and Morty once again

HYPEX, a popular data-miner, in a recent tweet, disclosed that a new Fortnite x Rick and Morty is on its way. While the post doesn't bear any other written information, it does have an embedded picture that depicts Summer Smith and Mr Meeseeks from the franchise.

Presently, there isn't any substantial information that can divulge particulars about the nature of the collab and what it entails. However, there is a clue in the picture. Summer Smith, Morty's elder sister, appears to be wearing the outfit from an episode called Promortyus.

For the uninitiated, Polymortyus is seventh episode of the fourth season of Rick and Morty. The episode follows Rick and Morty's misadventure with a face-hugging species of alien called Glorzo.

While the duo gets entangled with the aliens, Summer gets crowned as the new queen of Glorzo. The episode's timeline is a facsimile of the popular movie franchise Alien.

The other character shown in the shared picture is Mr. Meeseeks, holding a Meeseeks box. Mr. Meeseeks is a blue humanoid with a bulbous head from the franchise. He has the catchphrase, "I am Mr. Meeseeks, look at me." He can be summoned using the Meeseeks box and serves a single purpose before disintegrating.

Firstly, the price. Since Rick Sanchez was part of the Fortnite Battle Pass, the only appropriate reference left is Mecha Morty. The Epic outfit was introduced for 1500 V-Bucks. The new characters may be priced similarly. Players can also expect a bundle.

Secondly, the additional cosmetic items. Since the Rick Sanchez cosmetic outfit was bundled with 'It's a Rick Dance' and Butter Robot back bling, players can expect something similar. Mr. Meeseek’s cosmetic outfit might be paired with a Meeseeks box back bling and an editing style called Mr. Meeseeks (Kirkland brand).
