A new Fortnite x Rick and Morty collaboration could be coming soon, but there's a twist

According to Fortnite leaks, a new Fortnite x Rick and Morty collaboration could be coming soon. The information was brought to light by veteran leakers/data-miners @ShiinaBR and @iFireMonkey. They are considered extremely reliable sources of information, given that they have been part of the community since the early days.

Circling back to the Fortnite x Rick And Morty collaboration, a total of four characters have already been inducted into the game — Rick Sanchez, Morty and Summer Smith, and of course, Mr. Meeseeks. Given the popularity of the show, it makes sense that Epic Games is looking to add another.

Furthermore, with the upcoming season slated to release sometime in 2025, introducing another character is not a bad idea. However, the latest character in question, oddly enough, is not part of the Rick and Morty universe, but more so part of the Metaverse.

Upcoming Fortnite x Rick And Morty collaboration could feature "Pickle Peely"

Akin to Pickle Rick (that time when Rick Sanchez turned himself into a pickle to avoid therapy), a character called "Pickle Peely" has been discovered. The information was brought to light during the Fortnite downtime (January 14, 2025). A drawing of a pickle having the distinct eyes of Peely was found in the files. This pickle-humanoid, much like Pickle Rick, features limbs as well — two arms and legs.

However, unlike Rick, who "borrowed" limbs from a rat (without permission and consent), "Pickle Peely's" limbs seem to be part of the character. Nevertheless, this all points towards the possibility of Epic Games designing a version of Peely that's based on Pickle Rick.

Aside from the Outfit, it would be interesting to see what other cosmetics could be associated with the character. It would also be rather fascinating if "Pickle Peely" was made canon in the Rick and Morty franchise. It would make for an amazing Fortnite x Rick and Morty collaboration.

If not featured as an Outfit in-game, perhaps "Pickle Peely" will get the same treatment as Pickle Rick and be added as Back Bling. This wouldn't have the same effect, but would be cool to see, nonetheless. Hopefully, more information about this character will come to light in the coming days/weeks.
