Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 is finally nearing its end. There is only about a week left until Chapter 4 Season 1 begins, and even lesser playable time for the current season. The live event is scheduled for December 3 and until then, players are eagerly awaiting any sort of information about what next season might hold.
Chapter changes always completely revamp the game and revitalize the player base. Chapter 2's debut brought a whole new map, while Chapter 3 brought back pieces of the old map and significantly thickened the plot of the storyline.
Leaks have come in for the next chapter, and there's a lot to look forward to. One inclusion players have been pondering over is whether or not flying animals in Fortnite will be introduced in Chapter 4.

Fortnite rumors: Chapter 4 to introduce flying, rideable wildlife
There are a ton of leaks about what Chapter 4 Season 1 might bring to the table and a common rumor is that flying, rideable animals will be making an appearance. This was mentioned by HYPEX and many other prominent leakers who have corroborated the idea.
Right now, flying animals do not exist in Fortnite. Crows fly around the island, but they can't be ridden. Chickens don't really fly. Boars and wolves can be ridden, but they don't fly, either.
Bringing in flying creatures is something that will be new to the game. It also more than likely means new animals will be introduced, since crows are far too small to sit on.
As for what these animals might be, that's anyone's guess. Dinosaurs seem to make the most sense for a few reasons. First, there have been dinosaurs (raptors) in several different seasons of Fortnite.
Second, they're one of the few creatures in history or fiction that can fly and be ridden. Most of today's flighted animals would struggle to carry a human.
Pterodactyls and other flying dinosaurs would be big and strong enough for a gamer to mount and fly. Another possibility is that Fortnite may just create its own wildlife.
Could the flying creatures from the upcoming film Avatar: The Way of Water be introduced?
Should the upcoming season be collaborative in any way, it's hard to imagine the next Avatar movie not being involved. It releases on December 15 and the season begins 10 days prior, so an early crossover (like Spider-Man for Chapter 3 Season 1) is possible.
Keep in mind that while several leakers have confirmed the existence of flying animals, Fortnite has not legitimately announced their arrival.
It's likely that they will appear given the number of leakers suggesting the possibility, but this can't be treated as a fact or guarantee until Epic Games drops a hint or reveal of the same.
