Fortnite leak shows three upcoming Augments in Chapter 4 Season 1

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 is halfway complete, and there are several new items and weapons in the game to make the Battle Royale experience much more exciting. Leak shows three Reality Augments arriving in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1

A recent leak on Twitter by a user named Wenso shows that there are three Reality Augments in the game files that haven't been added to the game yet. They speculate that these Augments will either come soon in a future update or get scrapped altogether.

These Augments will exist alongside the 32 that are currently in the game. The three Augments arriving in the game, alongside the perks they offer, are as follows:

• ShotgunRegen - Increases shotgun fire rate
• KnightArmory - Gives you weapons, likely the Shockwave Hammer and Ex-Caliber
• BlackMarket - Gives you special, unknown items out of chests like the Splash Medic perk

These Augments offer an advantage if a player activates it as it re-establishes the shotgun meta by ensuring a high fire rate for the weapon, grants players a rare item like Shockwave Hammer, or gives them a vaulted item from chests. Some say that these might be scrapped due to the unfair advantage it would provide to players while they take on their opponents.

However, Augments like Aerialist, Riftjector Seat, and Mythic Munition offer a similar upper hand to players by granting them unlimited glider redeploy, rifting ability whenever their shield breaks, and an overpowered Mythic Pistol. Several of these Augments when paired with one another in Fortnite can help players win matches because of the abilities they get in every match.

While Reality Augments were added as a secondary feature in Battle Royale, it has now become a core one in Fortnite as loopers need them to rotate around the island, get access to vaulted weapons, and eliminate their opponents to claim a Victory Royale.
