One of the quests in the season-end series is to destroy the pipelines "near the Refinery," which indicates that the Wastelanders' plans to bring the Leviathan back to life might be cut short.
The majority of this season showed the pipeline's development from the mines at Redline Rig to the empty Nitro Tankers aboard the Leviathan. Destroying the pipes indicates that the Leviathan may not come back to life and raze across the island as an unstoppable machine.
These Story Quests might set the stage for a Marvel theme next season
