According to the latest Fortnite leaks, the upcoming update for v33.30 is slated to arrive on January 31, 2025. The information was brought to light by veteran leakers/data-miners @ShiinaBR and @iFireMonkey. This will be the fourth major update for this phase of the storyline, and most likely the second-last one. Given that this will occur towards the end of Chapter 6 Season 1, there's not much to expect in terms of new content or collaborations.
This is taking into account that the highlight of this season is the Fortnite x Godzilla Titan Takedown event. It is already in full swing, with players turning into the kaiju and terrorizing the island now and then.
That said, one new major piece of gameplay content will be coming to the game on January 31, 2025. It could be the very reason why there could be a major update on the given day. Here is more on the topic at hand.

Fortnite leaks suggest OG Chapter 1 Season 2 will feature remix Outfits of popular characters
Epic Games has officially revealed that Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 2 will go live on January 31, 2024. However, the developers are tight-lipped about what we could expect in terms of Battle Pass cosmetics. Based on Fortnite leaks, there is talk of three characters being remixed and presented as part of the Battle Pass.
As seen in the teaser, Black Knight, Sparkle Specialist, and Cuddle Team Leader could be getting remix versions of themselves. This pattern for cosmetics has been followed for quite some time, and will likely come to pass. The other highlight is the fact that Tilted Towers will be coming back in the Chapter 1 Season 2 map. It will undoubtedly become the center of attention for the duration of the timeline.
As for earlier Fortnite leaks pertaining to live events in the OG timeline, we could see a few hints start to drop by the end of this upcoming season. It will be interesting to see what Epic Games has planned since the OG live events are what made Fortnite extremely popular.
