According to the latest Fortnite leaks, there are a few upcoming Godzilla mechanics that will be implemented later this week. Players will be able to use a variety of abilities to wreak havoc after they have transformed into this formidable kaiju. They will become a Godzilla Boss of sorts that others can hunt down during the match.
The information was brought to light by @Egyptian_Leaker and @Loolo_WRLD. The individuals in question have provided accurate information regarding upcoming content for a while now. Here is more on what you can expect to see in-game in a few short days.

Fortnite leaks suggest Godzilla will have up to three abilities
Based on the information at hand, once a player transforms into Godzilla, they will gain access to three of the kaiju's abilities. They will be able to stomp the ground around them, use a heat ray to cut through POIs and anything else in their path, and also roar (it is unclear if this will have some AOE effect).
For the time being, the amount of damage each ability will dish out is unknown. Nevertheless, with the Fortnite downtime today (January 14, 2025) still ongoing, more details about them could emerge later.
In addition to Godzilla, it seems that King Kong will be a playable boss. The information was shared by leakers/data miners @Egyptian_Leaker and @SpushFNBR. Perhaps the two kaiju could face off against each other during a match. It would be a showdown of epic proportions.
When could the Godzilla collaboration start?
Based on the information at hand, the Godzilla collaboration will start on Friday (January 17, 2025), and should be active until January 31, 2025. This is when the next major update (v33.30) is scheduled to go live. It will be the second last update of Chapter 6 Season 1. Epic Games will provide more information via a blog post soon.
