Major updates like these usually bring an official collaboration as well as new items that change gameplay for loopers over the next few weeks. However, the leaks and speculations for this week's update are trending all over social media.

Fortnite update v23.30 will bring new Oathbound Quests, Augments, a fresh collab, and more

The latest Fortnite v23.30 update is due to arrive tomorrow and will bring a bunch of exciting things to the game for players to enjoy in Chapter 4 Season 1. Starting with the basics, a new set of Weekly Quests are confirmed to appear in the game as soon as it goes live, which will give the community another opportunity to level up their Battle Pass faster.

Alongside that, Part 3 of Oathbound Quests will be released, and it will pick up the story from Part 2, where loopers built a Rift Gate using Stellan's instructions and tested it upon AMIE's orders.

The questline will progress the medieval lore of this season and reveal more details about the mystery behind The Ageless Champion and what lies behind the Rift Gate.

As for new cosmetics, next month’s Fortnite Crew Pack will be officially revealed tomorrow, and subscribers will be able to get their hands on the items once it goes live on February 1.

Moreover, the official Dragon Ball Super collaboration was just teased by the official Fortnite social media accounts. It may bring back characters from the franchise and add a bunch of new ones like Freeza and Piccolo into the mix. Some suggest that the Kamehameha Mythic item may return during the official crossover as well, with Deku's Smash going back into the vault.

Additionally, five new Augments that will be added to the game in tomorrow's update were also recently leaked. They are as follows - Icy Slide, Harvester, Shadow Striker, Riftjector Seat, and Deft Hands. These will arrive just in time for the FNCS Majors 1 that begins later this week.

Several new speculated items like the Firefly Launcher, the Boombox V2, and the Guitar item will most likely arrive in the game with the v23.30 update. It may also bring some bug fixes that players have been waiting for, like a resolution to the Victory Royale emote bug after any Battle Royale match. The update may also add Hurdling back into the game.
