If you're looking for some bonus XP in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 to unlock high-level Battle Pass items faster, there's something you can do. Considering that the season is very recent and the whole map has been changed, it would be difficult to explore everything and find all the bonus ways to earn XP. Interestingly, a secret quest would grant you thousands of bonus XP in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1.
This secret quest was discovered by @realAlucar, who shared its walkthrough video on X and credited @ftw_karlo for helping him find it.

This secret quest is available in the new purple biome POI, Nightshift Forest, and can only be unlocked once you finish all of the Story Quests that came on December 4, 2024. The Story Quests do not expire and you can finish them anytime throughout the season, but the secret quest is likely to go away.

In the new batch of Story Quests, collect all the essence from the demons, which is quite easy to accomplish. Once you're done, head to the bottom right edge of the Nightshift Forest and you'll see a glowing purple light between two large rocks. When you get closer and interact for the first time, it reads:
" There is ancient magical resonance here. It echoes around time and space , into the Spirit Realm"
Once you do it, you will get a notification on the top left that you have unlocked the bonus XP in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 and have to find two more of these nearby. All of them will give you a different cryptic message, which is likely to be related to the lore of Chapter 6. The second one gives the following message:
"Something very old and very powerful is stirring the island's magics"
The final step shows this message:
"It is connected somehow, to the demons and the rage that drives them"
Once you finish all of them, you'll be granted 25,000 bonus XP in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1. Note that the quest can only be done once and won't appear until you've completed the Story Quests.
