Fortnite is full of unexpected moments, with players constantly managing to surprise even themselves with the things they can do in-game. A lot of these moments can spawn from intense combat and skillful displays of in-game knowledge. However, others can come from blunders that not only grant players unforgettable moments but also make for achievements one rarely sees in the game.

This is highlighted in a recent Reddit post shared by u/Ashykun7, where the player shared a screenshot of a recent Chapter 5 Season 3 match where they managed to place at the 100th position. While the moment was definitely one of defeat, it still is remarkable since placing in the 100th position means the player not only managed to get eliminated before anyone else but did so without a single player leaving the match.

Other members took to the comments to opine and joke about the situation displayed in the Reddit post. u/EffectiveFederal5900 pointed out how the moment is undoubtedly quite rare and jokingly suggested how they were proud of the player for being able to capture such an instance.

Redditor u/EveryoneWantsGrenino reinforced the rare nature of placing in the 100th position, revealing how they have never been able to do so in their seven years of playing.

Meanwhile, u/YoMamaSoFatShePooped revealed how they had a similar in-game experience when heading to The Yacht POI in Chapter 2 Season 2, which was necessary to unlock the Deadpool Outfit. Redditor u/Grimple_, on the other hand, pointed out how the player probably got some XP for a particular accolade acquired by placing in the 100th position.

While finishing last would usually be seen as a bad thing in any other Battle Royale setting, Epic Games actually rewards player's for managing to achieve this rare milestone. The accolade for this particular situation is titled Quick Exit, and while it isn't exactly granted for placing in the 100th position, players can acquire it by being the first to be eliminated in a match.

This wouldn't usually be a sought after achievement for players. However, given that all Accolades provide XP for the Battle Pass, it doesn't hurt to take any help you can get.
