“That’s ingenious”: Community reacts to Fortnite trick that allows players to eliminate The Wanderer

Fortnite has always been a place that allows players to try and experiment, not letting things grow stale, especially when it comes to certain elements featured in the in-game map. In that spirit, the community has been recently celebrating the introduction of The Wanderer to the Chapter 5 map as an NPC, bringing the much-awaited figure to the game.

However, while players have been in awe of the character’s mysterious aura and enigmatic nature, others can’t help but express their curiosity and try different things involving The Wanderer. Such is the case with a recent Reddit clip shared by u/Lycan-76, where the player showcased a trick to damage and even eliminate The Wanderer in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3.

The player was even able to use the Built-In Shapeshifter Emote of the Mystique Outfit to transform into The Wanderer. The Reddit clip attracted a lot of attention from the community, with many players like u/Tesla0713 coming forward to express their awe at the possibility showcased in the Reddit clip, leading them to state:

Other members of the community also took to the comments to chime in on this new discovery involving The Wanderer NPC. u/Shadow-trap expressed how they were going to follow the steps showcased in the Reddit clip and eliminate The Wanderer NPC to surprise others.

How to eliminate The Wanderer in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3

The Wanderer was recently added to the Chapter 5 map as an NPC and players can find him in one of his many spawn locations, idly roaming the Island. If you want to take on the quest of eliminating The Wanderer, all you have to do is equip yourself with a source of fire and make sure you are far enough from that he actually takes damage. This is because if you get too close to the NPC, he will disappear.

While taking The Wanderer down is not exactly a rewarding venture by any means, it only adds to the already long list of activities players can indulge in, in Chapter 5 Season 3.
