Fortnite Starter Packs have grown to become an important part of the game's massive cosmetic library, with these unique bundles providing players with aesthetically pleasing skins and other cosmetics for a limited time. However, they have become a rare instance in the Item Shop, something that players in the community have noticed and are not exactly fond of.
This is highlighted in a recent Reddit post shared by u/maf876, where the player brought up the topic of Fortnite Starter Packs and expressed a desire to see older ones return to the game. The player showcased various Starter Pack skins from the game's history in the Reddit post including Rogue Agent and Iris, both of which are immensely popular.
The Reddit post ignited a flurry of reactions from the community regarding Fortnite Starter Packs, with u/IvanNobody2050 expressing their admiration for the Packs and Fortnite Crew skins, stating:
Master the game with our Fortnite Interactive Map v33.00 here!
"There are so many good skins in there"
Other members of the community had their own opinions regarding Starter Packs, with u/NicoTheBear64 expressing their desire to see Save The World Starter Packs return to the game. Reddit user u/SUIllI, on the other hand, highlighted how they want to acquire the Iris Outfit especially since they have everything else from Chapter 2 Season 2.
Meanwhile, u/Krazy_boy1 suggested that Starter Packs should rotate through the Fortnite Item Shop on a weekly basis.
However, Reddit user u/NAS210 disagreed with the majority of the community, stating that while they would be okay with collabs being brought back, they believe Starter Packs should be kept exclusive.
Will Epic Games bring back old Fortnite Starter Packs?
With the Item Shop constantly evolving and growing, Starter Packs have faded into relative obscurity. However, that doesn't mean they are completely omitted from the ecosystem, so there is always a chance that Epic Games decides to bring old Starter Packs back to the game somewhere down the line.
This possibility is especially backed up by Epic Games' recent changes to Fortnite Battle Passes as players will have a chance of acquiring old Battle Pass items including and after Chapter 5 Season 4. This could mean there is hope that Epic Games reconsiders the exclusivity of Fortnite Starter Packs.
