Fortnite has always been an interesting landscape for player interaction. Interactions in Epic Games' title can range from highly competitive displays of skill to wholesome moments. However, they can sometimes hinder a person's ability to proper play the game and can be made worse when they come from a teammate.

This is highlighted in a recent Reddit post shared by u/bigswagguy1106, where the player can be seen donning the Weapon X Outfit and navigating an intense match of the Reload mode in Chapter 5 Season 3. However, as they tried to collect loot from a fallen enemy to heal themselves, their teammate, clad in the Peter Griffin Outfit, seemingly took every single healing item for themself.

If that wasn't enough, the Peter Griffin-clad teammate then used a Shockwave Grenade to thrust themself into the safe zone, launching u/bigswagguy1106 backwards into the storm where they eventually met their demise. The teammate's actions attracted a lot of attention from the community, with Redditor u/keagan-stanks stating:

Other members of the community took to the comments to chime in on the moment showcased in the Reddit clip.

u/Upper_Ad5781 joked about how this type of behaviour during a match is expected from players who use the Fortnite Peter Griffin Outfit. u/Doewolf further reinforced this point while highlighting how they share their healing items with their teammates during matches.

Meanwhile, Redditor u/Zeptis181 couldn't help but point out the hilarity of the situation, especially given how the Peter Griffin-clad teammate had relatively high health and didn't even need the healing items.

u/pawo10, on the other hand, expressed how situations like this are exactly why they prefer playing Fortnite Reload Duos.

While it is clear that the Peter Griffin skin does not have the most stellar reputation, it is still a beloved part of Fortnite's cosmetic library based solely on how ridiculous the Family Guy collaboration was. However, if you want to embody the beloved character from Quahog, you unfortunately cannot anymore.

Since Peter Griffin was part of the Chapter 5 Season 1 Battle Pass, it is no longer possible to acquire the skin. However, the Giant Chicken, another iconic part of the Family Guy collaboration, can be purchased through the Fortnite Item Shop, so keep a lookout for the next time the outfit is in the store.
