Ever since its launch, LEGO Fortnite has provided players with an extensive playground to explore and experiment with the many tools available in the game mode. With farming being such a huge part of players' survival in the LEGO mode, members of the game's community are always looking for ways to make this process more efficient and fruitful.
This is perfectly highlighted in a recent Reddit post shared by u/zachslegofortniteYT, where the player can be seen in their LEGO world while donning the LEGO minifigure variation of the Cursed Jack Sparrow Outfit. In the clip, the player showcased their setup to quickly farm materials in the LEGO game mode, a technique that involves using Activated Balloons and a Switch. They highlighted how efficient the process can be when farming a large amount of ingredients.
The Reddit post showcasing the player's LEGO Automated farming method attracted a lot of attention from the community, with Reddit user u/OkamiRoxas stating:
Master the game with our Fortnite Interactive Map v33.00 here!
“This is some Minecraft level stuff”
Other members of the community took to the comments to react to the player's display of efficiency, with Reddit user u/ErikLehnsherr24005 jokingly dubbing the player the Thomas Edison of LEGO Fortnite due to the engineering skills required to set up the automated farm. Reddit user u/kinkyloverb also expressed their admiration for the automated LEGO farm, highlighting how brilliant and useful it can be during a playthrough.
User u/ShakerEntree echoed these sentiments while pointing out how they hope Epic Games doesn't patch this feature with an upcoming update, like the LEGO Klombo update, due to its immensely rewarding and bountiful nature. Another user, u/Tommyboypsp, on the other hand, joked about the sheep's reactions to the player farming and collecting all the loot.
Will the LEGO Fortnite automated farming get patched out?
While the LEGO automated farming displayed in the Reddit post shared by u/zachslegofortniteYT is undoubtedly one of the most innovative and efficiency-boosting creations, it does beg the question of whether the developers will let this feature stay in the game. This is due to the developers potentially feeling that the automated LEGO farm could trivialize some of the struggles involved in progressing in the LEGO mode.
However, it is important to note that the automated LEGO farm seems to only use items and ingredients already available in the game, such as Activated Balloons and Switches. This means there is a chance that the feature stays untouched, allowing players to farm to their heart's content.
