Travis Scott is making a glorious return to Fortnite after several years, but not in the way you'd think. Following the success of Travis Scott and Fortnite Present: Astronomical in 2020, fans went gaga. The artist's Outfit is even one of the most sought-after Icon Series cosmetics in-game. However, there is no way to get it right now. It has been in the vault for well over 1,600 days at this point (1,660 at the time of writing).
No one expects the Outfit to return to the Item Shop anytime soon. Despite Tim Sweeney stating that "Travis Scott is welcome in Fortnite," there have been no official updates from Epic Games in over four years. That said, Travis Scott will be featured in the Fortnite Festival very soon.

Ice Spice ft. Travis Scott Oh Shhh to herald the return of the artist in Fortnite

The Festival's official page shared a list of all upcoming Jam Tracks that are due to be released on Thursday (November 14, 2024). Among them is Ice Spice and Travis Scott's Oh Shhh. This is the first time in years that the latter is officially being featured in-game.
Although his return is not related to the Battle Royale, this is a huge moment since it confirms what Tim Sweeney had stated about the artist being welcome in the Metaverse. However, it should not be treated as a confirmation that his Icon Series Outfit is making a comeback.
With Chapter 2 Remix featuring rappers such as Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Ice Spice, and even Juice WRLD (posthumously), Travis Scott fits the theme. As such, his representation in-game will likely remain limited to a Festival Jam Track and nothing more. We could also see the artist's songs featured in-game soon, but that would be the limitation of the rapper being represented in-game.

Of course, many feel that is a sign of his return, but Epic Games has yet to make an official statement. Thus, nothing can be said with certainty. However, if or when Travis Scott does return to the Item Shop, fans will have a meltdown, and social media will be flooded with notifications.
One can only hope it happens in Chapter 2 Remix, as the setting and theme are nothing short of perfect.
