“Trickshot of the century”: Community reacts to player’s attempt at completing Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean quest

The Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration has introduced a lot of in-game content for players to explore, including new quests. These challenges not only add to the pirate theme of the collaboration but can also make for some unexpected and memorable moments that are hard to replicate.

This is highlighted in a recent Reddit clip shared by u/BOOMexplained. The user can be seen in a solo Zero Build match in Chapter 5 Season 3, donning the Invincible Outfit and trying to complete the Pirates of the Caribbean quest, which requires players to hit an enemy with a coconut.

However, as u/BOOMexplained got knocked off a cliff by an enemy using the Nitro Fists, they turned around to pull off a trickshot with a coconut, completing their quest.

u/mongmich2 highlighted how they had a similar experience with the Pirates of the Caribbean quest. u/FairEffect174, on the other hand, pointed out how it is easier to complete the coconut quest through a duos match by hitting a knocked-down enemy with a coconut.

Meanwhile, u/aninjacould highlighted the enemy's use of Fortnite Nitro Fists, expressing confusion upon witnessing how big of a knockback they have when hitting an enemy.

u/wake_jinter, on the other hand, expressed their appreciation for the player's wardrobe choice, highlighting their use of the Invincible Outfit.

How to find the Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean quests in Chapter 5 Season 3

The Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean quests were introduced to the game recently as part of the Cursed Sails event. Upon their completion, players get Cursed Gold, which allows them to progress through the Fortnite Cursed Sails Pass.

To find the Pirates of the Caribbean quests, players must go to the quests section on the top bar in the main lobby. Here, they will find a long list of quests and challenges that they can indulge in to get the full pirate experience in Fortnite and earn some free rewards through the Cursed Sails Pass.
