Vengeance Jones has undoubtedly been one of the more interesting characters to emerge in the Fortnite Chapter 5 storyline, with John Jones now leading a new life on the Chapter 5 Island while helping Hope, the leader of The Underground, with her operations around the Island. However, it seems like Vengeance Jones might have more to him than meets the eye, as highlighted by some in-game dialogues.
In a recent X post shared by ScyanYT, a credible source and prominent figure in the Fortnite community, the creator shared how John Jones has a dialogue in which he describes himself as the "strong and silent type." While the line is pretty simple, it gains another level of importance when compared to The Visitor and his description, where the initiator of the Fortnite storyline is also described as the strong, silent type.

Is Vengeance Jones related to The Visitor in Fortnite?
In the X post where ScyanYT brought forward this potential theory, the user also pointed out how they originally thought that The Visitor was the first John Jones, and the reason he doesn't speak is to keep his friends and allies, especially John Jones himself, from knowing his true identity.
Interestingly, The Visitor has never uttered a line of dialogue in-game except for the Visitor Tapes from all the way back in Chapter 1 Season X, adding to the theory put forth by ScyanYT.
While the connection highlighted by ScyanYT can purely be a coincidence, it is important to remember that for a long time, John Jones was working in tandem with The Seven, the heroic group set on freeing the Zero Point, so it would seem apt for Vengeance Jones to essentially act as The Visitor's replacement in the game's lore.
Does Vengeance Jones' new dialogue hint at the return of The Seven?
Apart from the connection to The Visitor, Vengeance Jones' new way of describing himself can be seen as a subtle hint towards the return of The Seven. The Seven were last seen in Chapter 3 Season 4, where they were taken over by The Herald of the Last Reality's Chrome. Since then, players have been anticipating the return of these valiant characters to the storyline.
If the theory presented by ScyanYT has some weight, players could see The Seven potentially rejoining the game's narrative and Vengeance Jones finally embracing his role as one of the members of The Seven, possibly taking up the mantle of The Visitor and bringing things full circle.
However, it is important to remember that the information in this article is largely based on speculation and it is possible that ideas discussed in this article may not come to fruition in the future.
