Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 has been one of the most thrilling and long-awaited seasons yet! It all began with the introduction of Marvel superheroes and villains to the iconic battle royale island. Players had the chance to battle as or against their favorite characters, as well as explore and enjoy the exciting new map changes and weapon upgrades.

Now, with Season 1 coming to a close and the next chapter fast approaching, it's time to start getting excited for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2! From the teasers we've seen, this season looks to be an even bigger and better one.

When is the next season of Fortnite coming out?

Epic Games prefers to keep the date and time of the forthcoming Fortnite season a secret. However, according to leaker HYPEX, Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 2 will most probably start on Saturday, March 11, 2023, as Epic Games often starts a new season the day after the previous one ends. Nevertheless, Epic Games has made small changes prior to the season's end, so it may be completed a day earlier or later.

Furthermore, if a live event occurs at the end of the current season, the start of the next season may be delayed. The Season 1 Battle Pass timer expires on March 10, 2023, at the time of writing. This most likely suggests that Season 2 will be released on or shortly after this date.

Despite this being the current date the timer expires, Epic Games has the option to extend it. Incidents occur in gaming, and Fortnite is no exception. However, we have no reason to believe that Chapter 4 Season 2 would be delayed, therefore the release date of March 10 is a safe bet.

When does Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 end?

Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 1 will expire on March 10th, 2023, after a period of about 96 days (or 3.25 months) from its first release date. It is normal for the next season to begin the following morning. While Epic has not confirmed this date, the Chapter 4, Season 1 Battle Pass will expire on that date. HYPEX, a well-known leaker, also promoted this day. Of course, March is a long ways away, so Epic may decide to change the dates.

What are the changes to Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2?

There hasn't been much to go on with Chapter 4 Season 2 leaks yet. Epic Games founder and CEO Tim Sweeney, who periodically tweets cryptic clues regarding next seasons, has been one source of hints from recent patches. The first was a tweet that said, "Next year on iOS!".

This followed the removal of the battle royale game from Apple's app store and the following filing of a lawsuit against the multi-billion dollar corporation. This litigation is already over, but Sweeney tweeted in response to the filing that “Fortnite will return to the iOS App Store when and where Epic can offer in-app payment in fair competition with Apple in-app payment, passing along the savings to consumers.”

Another thing we know for certain is that Fortnite Creative 2.0 will not be released in the next several weeks. Epic Games founder and CEO Tim Sweeney responded to a tweet asking for an update by saying that the business is "currently targeting March."

Beyond that, not a lot of information about Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 has been released as Epic Games tends to keep things under lock and key.
