Where to find DJ Lyka in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4

In the recently released gameplay trailer of the Fortnite update, a wolf-themed rave party can be seen headlining the music across the island as part of a new NPC named DJ Lyka.

Along with cinematic music is a tough challenge for loopers as the chrome continues to spread across the Fortnite island. Zombies have started appearing randomly in several locations as well.

However, to battle all the opposing factors on the haunted island, players must possess a mythic ability that DJ Lyka can grant to players if they perform a specific ritual. But to do so, you first need to know about the NPC’s whereabouts and the threats along the way.

The most awaited Fortnite event is finally here, and players are jumping in to experience the new update. FortniteMares 2022 brought several new items, NPCs, surprises, and new game modes to the loop.

Find DJ Lyka and get ritualized with a Mythic ability on the Fortnite island

Finding DJ Lyka on Fortnite Island is not easy; seeing the NPC in action is even more challenging. However, if you follow the steps below, you might have an advantage over your opponents and can rock the Mythic Claws in action:

Step 1: Open the Map using the M button on your keyboard or the touchpad if you are playing on a controller.

Step 2: Navigate the Reality Tree POI in the southwest direction of the map, just north of Greasy Grove.

Step 3: You can either drop into the POI directly while jumping out of the Battle Bus or loot around and make your way slowly there to avoid getting eliminated by enemies.

Step 4: Reach the Reality Tree near the Chrome Towers that have taken over the POI.

Step 5: Once you reach there, you should hear music playing at the top.

Step 6: Get closer to the music source and see DJ Lyka playing the music.

Step 7: Once you are there, to gain the Howler Claws and Wolfscent Ability, you can step on any of the Alteration Alters spread out across the Reality Tree.

Howler Claws can be availed from any Alteration Alters spread throughout the map across named locations and POIs. Once there, players can perform a ritual to get and use those claws to their advantage.

As players get closer to DJ Lyka, they will enter an invisible barrier that will turn their surroundings darker, even if it's daytime on the island. This is an exceptional work of art as it puts the player in a rave party environment and allows them to witness a spectacular light show that the Fortnite NPC is putting up on the Reality Tree.

FortniteMares 2022 is live in-game and will stay until November 1 at 2:00 am ET, when players will have a chance to get free rewards. However, the Horde Rush mode will still be iavailable inFortnite until the update of v22.40 hits the game on November 15.
