Fortnite Chapter 4 Weapons: Full list of every new weapon & where to find them

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 is finally here. After a bit of downtime, the highly anticipated new chapter has arrived and brought about a lot of new changes. That means a new battle pass, new characters and a brand new island.

As with nearly every seasonal change (and especially chapter changes), there are new weapons. Sometimes Epic Games removes the vast majority of weapons and brings new ones in, and other times they mix both.

In Chapter 4, there are a lot of new weapons available, some of which are incredibly useful. Here's the full list of what you can get this season.

Fortnite Chapter 4 weapons and guns: What's new this season

Here is the full list of Fortnite Chapter 4 weapons that have been added:

• Ex-Caliber Rifle
• Thunder Shotgun
• Maven Auto Shotgun
• Red-Eye Assault Rifle
• Twin Mag SMG
• Tactical Pistol

These Fortnite Chapter 4 guns are brand new. The Ex-Caliber Rifle is very unique, as it shoots an explosive blade instead of bullets. It's early in the season, but this figures to be a popular weapon this season.

The Ex-Caliber Rifle can be found by defeating the Ageless Champion boss. It is found at The Citadel.

It will be roaming that are and carrying the weapon. Since it is a boss, you will have to fight and kill it to pick up its weapon. This is easier said than done, naturally, as with all bosses in Fortnite history.

The two shotguns are normal weapons and will be found in chests, supply drops, on the floor and even in vending machines. This is also true of the Red-Eye Assault Rifle and the Twin-Mag SMG and Tactical Pistol.

The Shockwave Hammer is another of the new Fortnite Chapter 4 weapons. It is currently the only melee weapon (aside from the harvesting tool) available. Here's how to get it:

1. Open Fortnite.
2. Head to a POI.
3. Search for chests (it can be found in any chest).
4. Continue until the Epic weapon drops out.

Finding this new weapon is not as concrete as heading to The Citadel and killing the Ageless Champion and picking up the weapon it drops, but it is a much safer way of getting an exceptional weapon.

The Shockwave Hammer produces shockwaves that can be used to do one of three things:

• Damage enemies (75 per hit)
• Destroy immediately surrounding builds
• Propel oneself into the air and move forward quickly

It is one of the most unique and interesting weapons available this season. Additionally, bows have been unvaulted. There are five different bows that each attack in different ways, but all are available now:

• Flame Bow
• Shockwave Bow
• Cluster Bow
• Unstable Bow
• Stink Bow

These bows are available from chests, supply drops and all loot locations. Many of the rest of the weapons from previous seasons have been vaulted. The long-awaited return of the SCAR and pump shotgun will have to wait, too, as Epic Games did not reintroduce those weapons.
