Although there are numerous game modes where XP can be earned in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2, only one is the true MVP. For those thinking this would be Creative or Save The World, it isn't. Rather, it is Battle Royale. Players can earn XP by simply playing the mode and completing various challenges. This article attempts to provide more information on how players can maximize their XP gain in the Battle Royale mode.

Battle Royale mode activities to earn maximum XP in Fortnite Chapter 4

1) Spring Breakout - Quests/Challenges

Spring Breakout Challenges are related to the ongoing Easter Event. Although these are time-limited, completing them will grant players a lot of XP in a short amount of time. Each Challenge grants 20,000 XP and has multiple stages to complete. In addition to the Challenges, there are Daily Quests, granting 20,000 XP per Quest.

By completing all the Challenges and Quests, players will also earn a few freebies in the form of cosmetics. For those planning to obtain them later, they might appear in the Item Shop next Easter, although there's no guarantee.

2) This Season

The "This Season" category pertains to the Weekly and Syndicate Quests related to Chapter 4 Season 2. A new set will appear each week, but unlike last season, the old ones will not rotate out of the game. Players will be able to complete them as long as the season is in session. Some of them grant 12,000 XP, while others award up to 24,000 XP.

3) Trials

As the name suggests, Trials are tasks that are repetitive in nature. They come in various stages, and each one that is cleared will grant the player experience points. Although this can be tedious, XP is worth the grind. Each stage completed will grant 25,000 XP.

4) Daily

As the name suggests, these are Daily Quests that provide a small amount of XP to each player. This segment even features a Daily Bonus that grants up to 15,000 XP. It refreshes every 24 hours and is a great way to obtain XP every day.

5) Milestones and Accolades

Milestones are often considered long-term XP generators in-game. Each one has 20 stages to complete, and each stage offers 6,000 XP as a reward. While the XP gains might seem minuscule, overtime adds up. Players are expected to complete them by the time the season ends.

Accolades can be earned in every match. As long as players complete certain tasks before anyone else in the match, they are granted a small amount of bonus XP. This can be farmed repeatedly to rack up experience points.
