Many players have attained the maximum level in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1. Despite the season being out for less than a month, thousands of players have already hit the maximum Battle Pass level.
Even more surprising is that some players have reached level 1,001, the maximum level in the game. Beyond this point, players can no longer level up, and nothing else is left to earn.
This article reveals why many of the game's battle royale players have easily reached the maximum level this season. We also look at some major leveling changes released by Epic Games with the new chapter.

Leveling up in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 is extremely easy
As seen in the video above, LootStation, one of Fortnite's most popular content creators, has nearly hit the maximum level in the game's current season. His teammates, too, have already reached the maximum level.
While leveling up quickly is impressive, there are several reasons why so many players have been able to reach the maximum level in Chapter 4 Season 1. Epic Games has nerfed the XP requirement beyond level 200, allowing players to level up much faster.
In the last few seasons, players needed to earn 38 million XP to get from level 900 to the maximum level. In the current season, they only need to earn 8 million XP to achieve this.
Almost every Fortnite Battle Royale player who has hit the maximum level has spent countless hours grinding. They focus on opening chests, ammo boxes, and other looting actions.
Besides that, many players have used Creative XP glitches, which are not bannable, yet allow players to level up while being AFK, which is perfect. Some glitches also grant over a million XP in just three to four hours.
Finally, many players used the Discord bot to acquire billions of Supercharged XP. Some actions grant 10 times more XP when Supercharged XP is activated, which explains why some players have been able to climb hundreds of levels in just a few days.
Reaching the maximum level is a bad idea
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 players will soon be able to obtain extra rewards from the Battle Pass. This new feature is called Midseason Drops, and Epic Games will release the first such reward on January 3 at 9 am Eastern Time.
To get these extra skins, players will have to gain 10 Account Levels. There are five additional skins in total, meaning that players will need to level up 50 times to unlock them all. However, players who have reached the maximum level will be unable to unlock these skins.
It is impossible to level up after reaching the maximum level, which is why many Fortnite players won't be able to earn these skins during the current season.
