The Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean skins are one of the most exciting features of Chapter 5 Season 3, with Epic Games bringing beloved characters from the Disney franchise to the Battle Royale Island in an ambitious crossover. However, some members of the community think the collaboration could have featured other iconic characters from the universe.
This is highlighted in a recent Reddit post shared by u/Ydoc12YT, who expressed their desire to see more Pirates of the Caribbean skins in Fortnite, specifically characters like Cursed Captain Barbossa and Captain Salazar.
The player highlighted how Jack Sparrow is not the only Cursed Pirate in the franchise, adding that they would love to see at least a Cursed Style for Captain Barbossa in the future.

The Reddit post ignited a flurry of reactions from the Fortnite community, with u/Immediate_Bother6565 expressing their desire to see Will Turner in the game:
“Will should be added as well”
According to Redditor u/MovieENT1, Captain Barbossa should have had a Cursed Style. The user added that Captain Barbossa and Jack Sparrow should also have had an Emote that allows them to switch between the selectable styles.
Meanwhile, u/Joltyboiyo expressed their frustration at the Cursed Jack Sparrow Outfit not being a selectable style for Jack Sparrow and rather a separate skin.
u/Far_Section9276, on the other hand, expressed hope for more Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean skins in another wave of cosmetics, similar to My Hero Academia.
Will Epic Games release more Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean skins?
Since the Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration is still relatively fresh, it is unlikely that Epic Games will add more Pirates of the Caribbean skins to the game anytime soon. However, that does not mean that there isn't a chance players will see characters like Will Turner and Captain Salazar in the future as Epic Games could be saving them for another wave of cosmetics.
This is also made more plausible because Disney and Epic Games have an active partnership since the former's $1.5 billion investment in the latter. This could lead to more Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean skins and other Disney franchises coming to the game down the line.
