Garena regularly reworks the abilities of the characters in Free Fire to ensure a proper balance in the gameplay. This ensures that all the options are equally potent and there is no mismatch in abilities. With the OB40 update likely to be made available towards the end of May 2023, a few characters are set to receive a change, which has already been disclosed in the OB40 Advance Server.

The Free Fire Advance Server reveals that the characters Dimitri, Thiva, Kapella, and Olivia will get their skills reworked. Following the OB40 update, their new abilities will undoubtedly make them a viable alternative to consider.

Note: The abilities in the Free Fire Advance Server are not guaranteed to remain the same, and the developers may alter them before the official launch during the update.

Listed below are the characters who have received new reworked abilities in Free Fire OB40 Advance Server:

Dimitri

Dimitri is the in-game persona of Dimitri Vegas, and the character has been relatively useful; however, players generally seem to prefer Alok and K over him. As a result, Garena has reworked his Healing Heartbeat ability to make him as good as the other healing-based characters.

Using his ability creates a 3.5m-radius healing zone. Within that zone, the user and allies recover five HP per second, and the help-up option will automatically get triggered when needed. The specific area will last eight seconds, and individuals can even employ it when they are down.

Furthermore, the effects of helping teammates can get enhanced by other skills, such as Thiva's. It is worth noting that the ability will have a cooldown of 60 seconds after each use.

Thiva

Thiva's Vital Vibes has also been revamped, and the developers have significantly modified this passive ability to make it a viable choice for team support.

After the changes in the Advance Server, it increases the speed of helping-up teammates by 70%, and the helped-up teammate recovers 100 HP in three seconds. Nonetheless, there is a 60-second cooldown placed once this ability comes into play.

Kapella

Kapella is another character whose skills have been altered in the game's Advance Server. These adjustments correspond with Dimitri's and are geared towards helping the team.

In essence, her passive ability gives teammates an 80-HP shield and a 10% movement speed boost after you help them up. These effects reduce four seconds after successful help-up. On top of this, the ability also reduces the bleeding speed of knocked-down teammates by 35%.

Olivia

Olivia is the final character to get her ability reworked, and it also focuses on helping the team heal. According to the skill present in the Advance Server, equipping her enables players to spread 80% of their sing-target healing effects to teammates within 10 meters.

This will undoubtedly make her an incredible option to have in character combinations, as gamers will be able to pass on their healing effects.
