Free Fire OB42 Advance Server features: New Ignite character, zone rotation, and more

Free Fire releases the Advanced Servers to gauge the playerbase’s reception to the work-in-progress features and to detect bugs. The OB42 Advance Server has gone live today, and many players are looking for the Activation Codes to see the tentative changes for the next update.

New Ignite character, Free Fire tokens, and many other changes can appear in the forthcoming OB42 update

Garena has brought the classic Free Fire anthem that will be played during its loading screen. Another addition that can be introduced in the upcoming update is 360-degree view access while driving your vehicle on the battlefield. Other changes that have been brought to the table are as follows:

Maps: As the forthcoming OB42 update is also named the Winter update, the developers have introduced a new Bermuda Snow map. Therefore, it’ll have frozen lakes that you can cross without being obliged to use bridges.

The Advanced Server also features a new method of zone rotation in its matches. This includes that the circle will not only shrink as the match progresses, but can also move toward the blue zone or any other part of the map.

Also, the popular location on the Bermuda map, Peak, has been given a new hideout that can be excellent for campers.

FF tokens: You’ll come across various FF token machines that will be prevalent all over the map and will reward you with 200 tokens.

You'll be able to buy Chronos and Clu's character skills via the vending machines. The former will cost you 500 tokens, whereas the latter will cost 300. Furthermore, the Advanced Server has introduced a new Portal Go item. It can be used to cover long distances instantly and will cost 800 tokens.

Eliminating an enemy will now reward you with FF tokens. Also, the amount of the reward will be increased as the match progresses. However, if you're knocked down, you’ll lose half of the gathered Free Fire tokens.

Characters: The character Sonia will now gain a 100 HP shield upon skill activation, which was 150 previously. Dimitri’s skill cooldown has been increased from 60 to 90 seconds. Moreover, Orion will now absorb 10 HP/s of his enemies upon skill activation, which was 15 HP/s previously.

Besides all this, a new character, Ignis, has been introduced in Free Fire. Upon his skill activation, he’ll produce a 10m wide screen of flames that lasts for eight seconds. If an enemy tries to cross it, the flame will reduce his 30 HP, and the damage will increase by 10 every second. If an armored enemy crosses the flames, his armor's durability will be reduced by 10%.

Since the forthcoming update is also called the Winter update, the character Wukong will transform into a snow-made monkey rather than turning into a bush upon skill activation.

Guild War: To increase your guild’s glory, you will have to defeat other guilds, unlike the previous method that involved playing more matches and topping up.

Toxic report: To maintain a healthy gaming environment, Garena has introduced new rules regarding account reporting. Upon being reported in a match, you will receive no raise in your rank, even if you achieve a Booyah.
